In response to our catalogue in the 100^th Newsletter of historical performances in Sydney since the establishment of the Society, member James Leigh has reminded us of another memorable Wagner performance that was also broadcast by the ABC: in James' words – “this was first decent mature Wagner in Australia since 1913 Quinlan tour”.
